Lilia and I met freshman year of college on the first day of orientation. I had just lost my phone in the field on which the very first ice breaker activity was held and was trying to find it somewhere in the grass.

The freshman class walked away to the next activity, and instead of going with everyone else, Lilia noticed me and stayed behind to walk the entire field and help with the search.

We did not find my phone, but we did become fast friends, then best friends, then girlfriends. We are now engaged (7.5 years later) and in love (Lilia made me add the fact that we are in love) and cannot wait to be married.
